Embroidery (It Is So Much FUN)
My mother introduced embroidery to me and I absolutely love it! Before I started I thought it was one of those crafts I would start and then quit after a week or so, but it isn't! I LOVE IT!!! All you need is embroidery floss, a needle, fabric, and a hoop. You can make your own design, like I did in one above, or you can purchase pre-made designs. I encourage you to try it.

Watch Were Your Going
I was on one of my favorite blogs ( Girl Talk ) and found a post that really touched my heart. I can totally relate to it and am trying to follow its moral. I would like to share a part of it with you:
“Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil” Ephesians 5:5-16
Look carefully. It’s a sobering command, is it not?We are not to trudge blindly or routinely through our days. We shouldn't’t just let life happen and try to deal with the results, be what they may. We should not allow one day to flow into the next, being concerned only with the present moment...................
If you would like to know more please visit Girl Talk. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
The Job of Woman
“To marry and have children is the ideal life for a woman. What career could ever be as fine? To give the world splendid men and women—isn’t that the noblest thing a woman could possibly do?”
Jessie Wilcox Smith
I found this quote on my mothers blog and thought it was great! This IS the ambition I want to embrace.

Gratituesday-Mother
I am so thankful for my mother. In the last month or so she has inspired me, taught me how to crochet, taught me how to embroider and taught me many more things on being a home maker and Christan young lady. Up until a few months ago, I am ashamed to say, I took my mother for granted. She had always been there and I was sure she would always be, but gradually I have come to the realization that I have the best mother, the one God chose for me long before I was ever born, and that our time together here on earth is finite. So I have been trying (I am not perfect ) to learn all that my mother has to teach me, to do all the things my mother says and do them the first time she asks. I hope that I will always remember the important roll of motherhood and cherish mine forever.
