More room at the Freebie

I just waned to remind you that I still have an open spot in the freebie. Tiffany, Mom, Mrs. Everitt, and Mrs. Cowland, you are not allowed to participate for you have already entered in my older post. Below are the directions.

Here is the deal:
The first person ( that's all I have room for ) to comment on this post will get something made by me. My choice. For you. This offer does have some restrictions and limitations: I make no guarantees that you will like what I make. What I make will be just for you. It'll be done this year. You have no clue what it's going to be. It may be a story or a batch of cookies. No guarantees, I may sew or stitch or paint. Who knows? Not you, that's for sure! I reserve the right to do whatever I want!
The catch? Oh, the catch is that you must re-post this on your own blog and offer the same deal to 5 of your own lucky blog readers. So, the first 5 people to leave a comment telling me they are in, win a homemade gift by me! Be sure to post a picture of what you win when you get it.
The Lady who came up with this ingenues idea is Mrs. Maria AT DM Everitt .

My Dad's Worst Joke

THIS IS A MUST READ POST!!!

We were siting at the dinner table last night talking a bout facts , you know........ some one would say something and then a conversation would come up, when my dad decided to play a joke on us. We didn't know he was playing a joke so we listened trying to learn something. Here is the joke:

Did you know that the titanic was not just a passenger ship, but also a cargo ship. It was, and the biggest shipment ever was mayonnaise. Well the Mexicans loved mayonnaise, so the titanic was going to bring mayonnaise from new york to Mexico. Well the titanic never got there , It sunk. So when the Mexicans found out the decided to make and name a holiday after it....... Sink-O-DE-Mayo.

HeHeHeHeHaHaHaHa!!

Now every time i get the chance I say the first phrase to my mom " did you now that the titanic was not just a passenger ship................

Gardening 101

Gardening is hard in N.H ,with the cold weather you cant plant stuff soon enough. So we started our seeds in pots inside. Well it started to pile up on our kitchen table, so we planted our broccoli, onions, and lettuce. The next morning we checked them.......They had made it through the night! YAY!!!! But dad said that the next night was suppost to be 30 degrees. So we thought, and we thought, and we thought, and mom said we should cover them with plastic. The next morning........They survived.
Below are some pictures of the garden ( inside and out). Our plastic covered garden.
Our onions ( under the plastic).

Our peas ( planted inside ).

Our cucumbers ( planted inside )

Not all of the growing things at our house are veggies. This rose was given to mom for mothers day, she also has a white one that has not bloomed yet.
GENESIS 1:11
Then God said, “Let the land sprout with vegetation—every sort of seed-bearing plant, and trees that grow seed-bearing fruit. These seeds will then produce the kinds of plants and trees from which they came.” And that is what happened.

Tin Mt. Bird Walk

In the news paper last Saturday there was a notice about a weekly Tin Mt. bird walk at the brown field bog. So bright and early at 5 o'clock this morning the alarm clocks went off. Mom, Rebekah and I grabbed a back pack stuffed with snacks, water, a sketch pad, colored pencils and of course a camera, pulled on our rubber boots and applied a thick layer of bug spray and headed to the bog.

Above you see some of the group headed into the bog. It seemed we stopped every few feet to view another species of bird. We saw lots of pairs building next and "flirting". We even saw a couple of Black-and-White Warblers having a tiff as the female looked on. I wonder which one won her heart?

A few of the group are biggies in the respect of bird watchers. They were wonderful and amazing in their knowledge and love for these little feathered beaked creatures. One woman, Dixie, took me under her wing ( hehehe! Joke intended )and took time to stop and make sure I saw all the birds she did. Dixie's friend had this awesome, powerful spotting scope. It was so cool to see the birds UP CLOSE through this. Thank you Dixie for helping me to see how truly amazing birds are. I can't wait until next Saturday..................Infact why not come a long. Email my for directions.

Hard Rain

Today ,May 9th, we had a relatively large thunder storm, FIRST OF THE SEASON!! There was hard rain, thunder, lightning, cool air, the hole Kit-n-caboodle. Below are some pictures off the web that are similar in what happened at our house. Thunder and Lightning!
Rain covered the window!

Down-poor worse than this!

GENISIS 7:4
Seven days from now I will make the rains pour down on the earth. And it will rain for forty days and forty nights, until I have wiped from the earth all the living things I have created.”

GENISIS 9:17
Then God said to Noah, “Yes, this rainbow is the sign of the covenant I am confirming with all the creatures on earth.”

GENISIS 1:7
And that is what happened. God made this space to separate the waters of the earth from the waters of the heavens.

EXODUS 14:22
So the people of Israel walked through the middle of the sea on dry ground, with walls of water on each side!
