Winter Craftting 101 : #1

We are into a whole bunch of arts and crafts things lately so here is one of the things that are doing.
Pine Cone Bird FeedersHere is Hannah covering her pine cone with bird seed.
Bekah peanut buttering hers.

Deklin peanut buttering his.

Here I am helping him.

Once we finished then we went out side to hang them up. Here's Hannah and Bekah with there pine cones. ( It was quite chilly out and that's why hannah appears to have no neck ).

The beautiful finished product.

Now for the last step, Clean up , hahahahaha. Well not so funny since I did the dishes.

How To Do This
You will need,
Pine cones
Peanut butter
Assorted bird seed
Yarn or string
A butter knife
Bowls
and a rimmed cookie sheet.
Note: the last three items are just for presenting it to the child.

Spread peanut butter on pine cone so that it is completely covered ( this prosses must include getting your fingers sticky ). Then sprinkle or role your pine cone with the bird seed . Then tie the end of the pine cone with string and the other end into a loop. Go outside and hang your wonderful creation on a tree in front of your window and get ready to admire the birds who come to get a snack.
